Where to Find the Cheapest Tee Times Near Me?

I’m on the hunt for the most affordable tee times at local courses and could really use some help! Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just starting to get into the game, finding the best rates can make a big difference in how often we get to hit the links.

Why I’m Asking

Golf can be an expensive sport, especially when you factor in course fees, equipment, and all those extra costs. Lately, I’ve been trying to cut down on expenses without sacrificing the joy of playing. I don’t mind traveling a bit if the savings are worth it!

What I’m Looking For

  • Discounted Rates: Are there any websites or apps that you recommend for finding cheap tee times?
  • Special Deals: Do you know of any promotions that local courses offer, especially during weekdays or off-peak hours?
  • Comparison Sites: Suggestions for platforms that let me compare prices across different courses would be golden.
  • Experiences: If you’ve booked affordable tee times before, how was your experience? Any tips on how to snag the deals?

Happy golfing!

If you’re looking for cheap tee times, check out Rolling Oaks Golf Course. They have afternoon specials for $30. I’ve played there several times and really enjoyed it!

I’ve heard great things about Rolling Oaks! Has anyone played there on a weekend? Are the deals still good?

Wendy, weekends can be pricey, but I found Riverside Golf Club offering $25 tee times before noon. Just book early, they fill up fast!

Riverside sounds perfect! Do they have a website for booking, or is it better to call directly?

They have both options! You can book online at Riverside’s site. Just a heads up, keep an eye out for mid-week deals, which are sometimes even cheaper than weekends.

I love mid-week golfing! It’s also less crowded. I found Mountain Ridge offering $20 twilight rates after 5 PM. Great for catching the sunset!

Mountain Ridge sounds fun! Is it walkable, or do you need a cart?

It’s definitely walkable! The course isn’t too hilly. I walked it last time. Just watch out for the geese near the 7th hole—they can be quite aggressive!

Haha, good to know! Any more tips on booking? I always worry about hidden fees.

I’ve had issues with hidden fees too. Always read the fine print when booking online! Sometimes they add a convenience fee. Calling directly can be safer.

So true! Last time I ended up paying $10 extra for a mandatory insurance fee I didn’t notice.

Did you really?! That’s wild! Sometimes it feels like we need a lawyer just to book a tee time! But hey, at least we can find good deals if we look hard enough!

Absolutely! I’ve even started checking local Facebook groups for last-minute deals and discounts. It’s surprisingly effective!

I find that weekday afternoons are generally the cheapest time to book tee times. Many courses offer great discounts, especially on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

That’s a great tip! I also noticed that early mornings, particularly on weekdays, can sometimes have reduced rates. Has anyone checked out twilight rates?

For seasonal trends, try booking your tee times in spring or fall when courses are less crowded. Summer often has peak rates due to high demand.

Good call denise44! I always forget that some courses have loyalty programs that offer free rounds after a few paid ones. It’s worth asking about!

I’ve also heard that the first hour they open can be cheaper at certain courses. Has anybody tried getting a tee time just as the course opens?

I think weekends can actually be pricier unless you’re lucky to find a last minute deal. Check online for discounts the day before!
