Online auction launched to support EWGA Trust

An online auction has been launched by the English Women's Golf Association to raise urgently-needed funds for the EWGA Trust, its charity for girls' golf.
The lots include tickets for the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth and signed golf memorabilia. Bids are invited on the EWGA website:
All the lots have been generously donated to raise money for the EWGA Trust. The charity supports girls' golf with grants for coaching, equipment and tournament expenses but its income has fallen dramatically in recent years and it has been forced to cut back on awards.

The lots in the auction include:
- Season tickets and car park passes for the 2009 BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth from 21-24 May
- Season tickets for the 2009 Senior Open Championship at Sunningdale from 23- 26 July
- Two seated tickets for an Arsenal home game
- Signed memorabilia from Australia's top women golf stars
- Signed memorabilia from celebrities including European Tour star Oliver Wilson, footballer Ian Wright and comedian Jasper Carrott
- Signed photographs of Laura Davies
- Signed copy of Nick Faldo's autobiography
- A weekday round of golf for four players at Moor Park, Hertfordshire
