Anyone know about the best golf courses in New Buffalo, Michigan?

Do you know if their tee times fill up quickly during peak seasons? I’d hate to miss out on a round!

From my experience, tee times can go fast, especially on weekends. I always book at least a few days in advance to be safe.

I heard The Golf Club at Harbor Shores has some awesome membership perks like discounts on dining and events. Anyone know more about that?

I’ve seen their membership deals advertised online. You get great value if you play regularly. Worth considering if you’re an avid golfer!

True! But are the membership fees reasonable compared to other places in the area?

I’ve compared a few and it seems like Harbor Shores is on par with others in the area. Definitely worth it if you play often!

Just a heads up, I’ve had some trouble reaching their customer service for booking inquiries. Might be worth trying early in the morning.

Yeah, the waiting time can be long. It’s better to book online if you can. Sometimes I think they should hire more staff!

So true! I had to wait ages just to ask about their membership options last time I called.

I often wonder why golf courses don’t offer a virtual tour of their facilities. It would make decisions easier, don’t you think?

That’s an interesting thought! A virtual tour would certainly help in choosing a course. Plus, it could save time for everyone.

Honestly, trying to figure out which course to choose is like picking a favorite child. They’re all great in their unique ways!

There are several great golf courses in New Buffalo! The Beachwalk is highly regarded, especially for its scenic views. I recommend playing early in the morning to avoid crowds and enjoy the cooler temperatures.

I totally agree! It’s a beautiful course. Also, keep in mind that many courses around here have relaxed dress codes, which is nice. Just be considerate and respectful to other players.

When you’re done golfing, definitely check out the local dining options! The Stray Dog is a fun spot and has great burgers. You can easily combine your golfing with some nice meals afterward.

Great recommendation! And if you’re planning on staying overnight, look into the local bed and breakfasts. They offer quaint stays and often have golf packages.

I’ve heard Birchwood Farms is another gem, but it plays a little longer. Perfect for a weekend round if you’re up for a challenge. What’s everyone’s favorite time of year to play?

I love playing in the fall! The colors are absolutely stunning on the course. Also, don’t forget to respect the pace of play; it can get busy on weekends.

Very true! Golf etiquette is key. Another tip is to always repair ball marks on the greens. Keeps the course nice for everyone!

Is there a particular course known for its amenities? Sometimes I prefer having nice facilities nearby, especially for a post-golf drink or snack.
