Anyone Played at Hogan's Alley Golf? Share Your Thoughts!

The 7th hole is a beast for me! Water all around makes it so nerve-wracking. Anyone else feel that pressure? Or am I just bad at water holes?

I’ve played at Hogan’s Alley a few times. Club selection is crucial! For the par 3s, I’d recommend a solid 7-iron. Avoid the bunkers at all costs! They can ruin your score.

Absolutely! And don’t forget, the approach shots need to be accurate. I usually aim for the center of the greens to give myself a better putting chance.

I agree with you both! I think mastering the short game is the key here. A good chip can save you from a disaster on those tricky greens.

So true! I tend to use my hybrid for long approach shots. It gives me better control and distance without sacrificing accuracy.

I’ve found that putting is especially challenging here. The slopes on the greens can be deceiving. Always read the lines carefully!

Exactly! I also like to practice putting before I play. Getting a feel for the speed can make a huge difference.

Does anyone have a funny story from Hogan’s Alley? I once hit my ball into a tree and it came back and hit me! I guess the trees have a sense of humor.

Haha! That’s hilarious! I’ve always said, Hogan’s Alley has a way of keeping you on your toes, literally!

Thanks for all the tips! I’m heading there next weekend. Any last-minute advice before I play?

Be mindful of the weather! Wind can really affect your shots here. Stay relaxed and enjoy the game!
