Anyone tried the Rogue ST Max Irons? What are your thoughts?

Looking for Feedback on Rogue ST Max Irons

I’ve been hearing a lot about the Rogue ST Max irons from Callaway and I’m curious to get some feedback from anyone who has used them. I’ve been looking to upgrade my iron set, and these have caught my attention due to their reputation for performance and distance.

What I Know So Far

From what I’ve read, the Rogue ST Max irons are designed for forgiveness and distance, making them appealing for mid to high handicappers. Here are some features that stand out to me:

  • AI Designed Flash Face: This technology aims to enhance ball speed and improve overall performance.
  • Tungsten Energy Core: Helps with optimal launch and distance control.
  • Weight Distribution: It seems they’ve put a lot of thought into how the weight is distributed for better stability.

Questions I Have

  • What’s the feel like?
Are they as forgiving as advertised?
  • Performance: How do they stack up against other models like the Apex or Mavrik?
  • Recommendations: Any thoughts on whether they are worth the investment or if there’s a better alternative out there?

Personal Context

I’m a beginner trying to break into the mid-handicap range and I’ve been practicing a lot recently. My current irons have seen better days, so I’m hoping this upgrade could really help my game.

Would love to hear your experiences, tips, or any comparisons! Thanks in advance for your insights!

I’ve been using the Rogue ST Max irons for a month now. I really appreciate the distance I get with them! They feel solid on impact, and my accuracy has improved too.

That sounds promising! How do they feel compared to your old set? I’m interested in the feedback on the feel.

I’ve tried them out as well! They provide great feedback through the hands. You really know when you hit the sweet spot. Plus, I’ve gained about 10 yards on my average distance.

Sounds like a winner! What about the accuracy? Are they forgiving on mishits?

I’ve found the Rogue ST Max irons are quite forgiving! I’m not the most consistent player, but they help keep my shots on target more often than not.

Wow, that’s great to hear! I could use some forgiveness in my game. How do they hold up in windy conditions? Just curious!

In windy conditions, I still felt I had decent control with these irons. The weight seems balanced, and I didn’t struggle too much with my shots. It’s a solid club overall.

Interesting! Have you tried other models? How does this compare to the previous versions?

I’ve stuck to only Rogue models, but the ST Max feels more stable than the previous ones. It really has boosted my confidence in my swing!

I think the ST Max irons look great, but I’ve read mixed reviews. Some say they can feel a bit clunky. Experiences on that?

I haven’t noticed any clunkiness. If anything, they feel smooth throughout the swing. Golf is all about feel, so if you like the look, give it a shot!

Great point! Maybe it’s about personal preference. Have others found them to feel overly rigid or anything?

I’ve experienced a solid, yet soft feel with the ST Max irons. No rigidity for me! They are performing admirably during my rounds.

I’ve recently tried the Rogue ST Max irons, and I must say, they’re impressive! The AI-designed face really feels forgiving. How do they compare to the Apex models in terms of performance?

I’ve used both, and while the Rogue ST Max offers great forgiveness, the Apex has a nicer feel. It really boils down to whether you prioritize forgiveness or feedback.

I’ve been looking into these as well! Pricing-wise, they seem competitive, especially with the technology involved. I’ve heard mixed reviews on the sound at impact though. Anyone experienced that?

To be honest, I found the sound to be quite pleasant! It’s definitely on the louder side, but it gives a solid feedback which I appreciate.

I’m curious about how these would stack up against the TaylorMade P790s. Any thoughts on trajectory and spin? I feel like I could use some help in those areas.

The trajectory with the Rogue ST Max is quite high, perfect for mid-handicappers. Comparatively, the P790s offer more versatility for low handicappers. It’s all about your game style.
