Hey everyone, I’ve been struggling with my putting game lately and I’m considering investing in some putting aids or tools to help improve it. Any recommendations on what’s worth getting?
I’ve had great success with the Putting Arc. It’s fantastic for working on your stroke path and centeredness of contact. I also found the Dave Pelz Putting Tutor very useful for alignment and aim. I totally agree. The Putting Arc has improved my swing path significantly. Also, don’t underestimate the good old mirror tool for checking your head position and eye line.
Have any of you tried those putting mats? I’m considering getting one for home practice.
I also found the Dave Pelz Putting Tutor very useful…
I’ve got a PuttOut mat. It’s super convenient and helps in building muscle memory without needing to go to the course. Though, nothing replaces real greens!
PuttOut is amazing! The PuttOut Pressure Putt Trainer has this cool parabolic curve that gives immediate feedback. It’s my favorite training aid right now.
PuttOut is amazing!..
I’ve seen that one. It’s definitely on my radar now.
Can anyone suggest tools for speed control? I oftentimes either overhit or underhit my putts.
I’ve got a PuttOut mat…
I find the Pelz Golf DP4007 Putting Tutor helpful for speed control. It forces you to practice both your aim and the actual speed of your putts, and it shows you immediately when you’re off.
Random thought, anyone tried the laser alignment tools? I saw one on TV and it looked super sci-fi but useful!
laser alignment tools…
I’ve got the EyeLine Golf Laser Focus. It’s pretty rad, makes alignment mistakes really obvious. Feels a bit like cheating but hey, whatever works!
For those who mentioned alignment tools, do you use them in actual live practice rounds or just for drills?
Definitely both! They help you become more consistent in drills, which translates to better performance on the course.

What about apps? Any apps out there that provide good drills or feedback?
anyone tried the laser alignment tools?
Yes! The GolfLogix app is packed with putting drills and tips. Haven’t used it extensively, but the bits I did try were solid.
Never thought I’d see the day when putting aids would go digital!
Any apps out there that provide good drills or feedback?
Times are changing.
Anyone here tried the Blast Golf sensor? Its tech-heavy but promises some refined stats.
GolfLogix app is packed with putting drills…
I’ve tried it! It’s a bit expensive, but it gave me some great insights on tempo and consistency. Totally worth the investment.
Not a putting aid, but I recommend doing putting games with friends. Keeps practice fun and competitive!
Anyone here tried the Blast Golf sensor?
