The Red Lion has a good selection, but I think it lacks the vibe that others mentioned. It’s worth a visit for the variety, though.
I’d suggest avoiding The Anchor - I found it a bit too quiet for a post-golf atmosphere. A good drink, but not much fun.

One of the best pubs in St Andrews for golfers is The Links Bar. They have multiple screens and a great atmosphere during major tournaments. It’s packed with fans, which really adds to the excitement!
I totally agree! The Links Bar is fantastic. Plus, their pub grub is excellent! Definitely my go-to spot.

C’mon, you can’t miss The Dunvegan! It’s known for its golf-themed decor. The atmosphere is lively, especially when the Masters is on. I laugh every time I see an old golf bag hanging on the wall!

For a more neutral setting with great food, try The Railway Inn. They broadcast major tournaments, but it’s not as crowded as some of the others. It’s a good place to unwind with fellow fans.

You should absolutely do that! Personally, I think The Open is the best for atmosphere. There’s something special about watching it with other fans in St Andrews!

Agreed! Just be prepared for the occasional exuberant shouting when a player sinks a long putt—you never know what to expect!
