I’m in the market for some new golf grips and I’ve been hearing a lot about the Lamkin UTX. Before I make a purchase, I’d love to get some feedback from those of you who have tried them out.
What to Consider:
Comfort: How do they feel during a round? Are they easy on the hands?
Durability: Do they hold up well through various weather conditions and usage?
Tackiness: How does the grip perform when your hands are sweaty?
Comparison: How do they stack up against other grips you’ve used?
If anyone has insights or personal experiences with the Lamkin UTX grips, I’d really appreciate your thoughts. Any specific pros and cons you’ve spotted? Thanks in advance for your help!
I recently switched to Lamkin UTX grips and have been impressed with their performance in both wet and dry conditions. They really do offer excellent traction!
Definitely! The UTX grips have a soft touch which adds to the comfort, even after several hours of play. I’ve played in some heavy rain, and they just performed well!
In hot conditions, they can get a bit slick if your hands are really sweaty, but a quick wipe usually does the trick! Overall, not a deal-breaker for me.
I find them perfect but it really depends on your personal preference. Some players like a thinner grip for better feel, while others prefer a thicker one.
I’ve been using Lamkin UTX grips for about a year now. The materials feel premium and provide a great tackiness. However, I’m curious about how they’ll hold up over time.
I’ve played around 50 rounds with my UTX grips, and they’re still holding strong! Very little signs of wear. They do require occasional cleaning, though, to maintain that tackiness.
