I’ve been hearing a lot about Pelican Hill Golf Course lately and wanted to see if anyone has firsthand experience playing there. I’m particularly interested in the two courses, the North and South.
Here are some questions to consider:
Course Comparison: How do the North and South courses differ in terms of layout, difficulty, and scenery?
Playing Experience: What’s the overall vibe when you’re out on the courses? Is it a friendly atmosphere, and are the staff welcoming?
Difficulty Levels: For those who have played both, what are your thoughts on course difficulty? Do you have to be an expert to enjoy your round?
Overall Quality: Is the condition of the course consistently high, and are there any notable features or holes that stand out?
If you have any reviews or thoughts to share, I’d love to hear about your experience. It would really help me decide if I should book a tee time for my next golf outing!
I’ve played both the North and South courses, and I find the greens at the North to be in better condition overall. They’ve clearly been well-maintained.
I recently played the South Course and found the strategic design elements to be fantastic. The par-5 18th hole is such a memorable ending! It’s both challenging and rewarding when you sink that final putt.
Absolutely! The South Course definitely offers some thrilling holes. Did you find it easier or harder compared to the North Course? I hear it varies for each player.
I found the North Course slightly more forgiving, but it still has its tough holes. The layout encourages you to think strategically about your shots. My favorite was the 7th – such a beautiful view!
The South feels heavier to me! I struggled a bit with the elevation changes. Those uphill shots really tested my swing. Makes you appreciate the strategic design, though!
I haven’t played on the North as much, but I hear the greens are tricky. Anyone have tips for tackling those? I’d love a strategy guide before I head out again.
The South Course’s greens can be relentless, but you’ll learn to love the challenge! Just focus on distance control and you’ll be fine. Everyone experiences their share of 3-putts there!
Sounds like a rite of passage! I find the North’s design less intimidating, making it more enjoyable for a casual round with friends. It’s fun to relax and enjoy the scenery.
