I’m planning a golf trip to Michigan and I’m eager to hit some of the best public courses available. I’ve heard mixed reviews, and it seems like there are so many options out there.
What I’m Looking For:
Top-rated courses that won’t break the bank
Scenic locations that make the experience memorable
Any hidden gems that aren’t as well-known but offer great play
If anyone has a favorite course or specific recommendations based on your experiences, please share! What makes that particular course special? Any tips on when to go or special deals on tee times? Thanks in advance for your help!
I highly recommend the Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club. The views of Lake Michigan are stunning, and the course is top-notch. It really feels like you’re playing on a premium course without breaking the bank!
Have any of you played at The Jack Nicklaus Course at Treetops Resort? I’ve heard amazing things about their layout and incredible elevation changes. Just curious!
If you want to try something a little more affordable, don’t overlook the courses at Hudson Mills Metropark. It’s a great option for a relaxed round with friends!
I’ve always been a fan of the Grand Traverse Resort. Their courses are well-maintained, and they often host great events throughout the season. Has anyone else attended those?
While I’ve enjoyed many courses, I think some public ones are overrated. Like, how is it that Pine Valley gets so much hype yet it’s so tough for average players?
If you’re looking for budget-friendly options, check out the Flint Golf Club. They often have discounts for twilight hours and online bookings. Golfing there is a treat without breaking your wallet!
