USPS has my package but no updates for days - Anyone else dealing with this?

I’ve been waiting for a package that was marked as ‘in possession of USPS’ for several days now, and I’m starting to get pretty frustrated. It’s a crucial item I ordered online, and the delay is really messing up my plans.

Here are my thoughts:

  • Tracking Updates: It’s strange how they can hold onto items without any updates or notifications. I’ve checked the tracking status multiple times, but it’s still showing the same information.
  • Customer Service: Has anyone had better luck getting through to USPS customer service? I called them, but the wait times were ridiculously long and they weren’t very helpful.
  • Advice: If anyone has dealt with similar situations, what did you do? Did you reach out to the seller, or just wait it out?

I just keep telling myself that the package is somewhere, protected and safe, even if I can’t see it right now. Reflecting on the bigger picture helps!

I called them three times! Each time, I got a different answer. They really need to improve their communication.

I had a similar experience a month ago. It took four days for them to provide any update after my package was marked as ‘in transit’.
