I hear Pebble is amazing! How does it compare to something like Pinehurst No. 2?

Pinehurst No. 2 has a unique design with its crowned greens. It’s a different challenge compared to Pebble Beach but just as iconic in its own right.

I recently played TPC Sawgrass and loved the 17th hole! The atmosphere was electric, especially with the spectators. A must-play if you’re in Florida!

The 17th is iconic! What did you think of the rest of the course? Was it as thrilling?

The course layout at TPC Sawgrass is fantastic! The front nine is slightly more forgiving, but you’ll be challenged on the back. Really well-maintained as well!

Has anyone played the courses at Bandon Dunes? I’ve heard they have a rugged charm and stunning ocean views!

Yes! Bandon Dunes is like golf heaven! The blend of links-style and natural beauty is incredible. You won’t be disappointed.

I play golf mainly for fun, so the views at courses like Bandon Dunes really enhance the experience for me. It’s nice to have those scenic breaks!

Desert Mountain has some incredible elevation changes. I also love Troon North for its impeccable conditions and the scenery!

Unique features in golf courses really make a difference. I remember the elevation drops at Whistling Straits; it’s both exhilarating and terrifying!

Totally! The excitement of playing at a course like Whistling Straits can’t be matched. And the lake views are a huge perk!

Of all the courses I’ve played, I find that Oakmont is probably the deadliest due to its challenging greens. Definitely keeps you on your toes!

I’ve heard that Oakmont’s greens can feel like putting on a brick wall! Is that accurate?

I’ve played several of the courses listed in Golf Digest, and I found that pricing varies a lot. For instance, Pebble Beach can be pricey, especially during peak season. You’re looking at around $500 in summer. However, if you go in winter, it can drop to about $250.

Definitely agree! I played Torrey Pines during the off-peak season, and it was only about $100. Worth every penny for the views and layout!
