What Are the Best Spokane Golf Courses to Play?

Looking for some insights on the best golf courses in Spokane, Washington. I’m planning a trip and want to make sure I hit up the top spots!

Recommendations Needed

I’m particularly interested in:

  • Course conditions: How well-maintained are the fairways and greens?
  • Diversity of holes: Do the courses offer a mix of challenges? I love a good balance of par 3s, 4s, and 5s.
  • Amenities: Things like clubhouses, carts, and dining options can really enhance the experience.
  • Pricing: Are there certain courses that offer great value for what you get?

Personal Experiences

If you’ve played in Spokane before, share your favorite courses and what made them special—was it the scenery, the layout, or maybe the atmosphere? I’m looking for both well-known spots and hidden gems.

Seasonal Tips

Also, if you have advice on the best times of year to play or any local events I should check out while I’m in town, that would be awesome!

Thanks in advance for any advice you can share. I’m excited to hear about your experiences and recommendations!

I highly recommend the Spokane Country Club. It’s consistently rated as one of the best in the area, with beautiful scenery and a challenging layout. Plus, the staff is super friendly!

I agree! The Spokane Country Club is amazing, but have you tried Indian Canyon? I’ve heard great things about its views!

Indian Canyon is definitely a gem! It’s unique for its elevation and the panoramic views are stunning. Just be prepared for some hilly greens.

I love the challenge of those hilly greens! But what about the Ferguson Park Golf Course? Anyone played there?

Ferguson Park is great for beginners! It’s not too long and very affordable. I took my friends there for their first time, and they all had a blast!

That sounds fun! What about some of the more challenging courses like The Creek at Qualchan? Is it worth the trip?

Absolutely! The Creek at Qualchan has a beautiful layout, and the wildlife you’ll see during your round is incredible. Just keep an eye out for those pesky sand traps!

I’ve heard it’s tough! Also, any thoughts on the Liberty Lake Golf Course? It’s a bit outside Spokane but supposedly worth a visit.

Liberty Lake is definitely worth it! It’s often less crowded, and you can find some really good deals on green fees. Plus, the staff are super friendly!

I’ve played at Liberty Lake a few times! Great course, but I had an embarrassing moment when I accidentally hit my friend’s cart instead of the ball, haha!

Haha, that’s hilarious! I guess we all have our moments. But which course has the best food after the game? That’s important too!

Spokane Country Club has some amazing dining options post-round! The food elevates the whole golf experience. I’d say it’s a must-try after playing there.

I can’t wait to try it! Thanks, everyone, for the awesome tips. I’ll be hitting up a few of these courses this season!

Hey everyone! I’m looking for budget-friendly golf courses in Spokane. Any recommendations? I play casually and don’t want to break the bank.

Check out the Spokane Valley Golf Course! Great rates and it’s a fun place for casual golfers. They have specials during the week too.

I’d second Spokane Valley Golf Course! Plus, don’t forget about the discounts for seniors and military. Always a good idea to call ahead for group rates as well.

If you’re looking for deals, check apps like GolfNow. You can often find last-minute tee time discounts. Just played at Downriver Golf Course and it was a steal!

That’s a great tip! I’d also recommend considering a membership at a local course. They often have good deals for casual players.

I joined a local club and it was so worth it! Memberships can pay for themselves quickly if you play often enough, especially with free or reduced green fees.
