Overall Satisfaction

Would you recommend Nashawtuc Country Club to others looking for a golfing experience? Any specific anecdotes or highlights would be appreciated!

I’m especially interested in experiences from fellow golfers, so feel free to share your thoughts and feedback. Looking forward to hearing what you all think!

I’ve been playing at Nashawtuc Country Club for a few years now, and I must say the greens are in excellent shape. They keep them well-maintained throughout the season.

I agree! The fairways are consistently good too. It’s always nice to have a smooth lie when you tee off.

I’m curious about the bunkers. I’ve heard mixed reviews about their sand quality. Can anyone share their experiences?

The bunkers could definitely use some work. Sometimes the sand is too compacted, making it difficult to escape. They could improve maintenance there.

I’ve noticed that the seasonal changes impact the course’s condition. It’s best in the spring and fall but can get a bit rough in summer.

Overall, I think they do a pretty good job with maintenance. Just visited last weekend, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well-kept everything looked!

For sure, I was out there last Wednesday and the greens were rolling great! It’s such a pleasure to play on a well-maintained course.

What do you all think about their mowing schedule? I feel like sometimes they cut the grass too low, affecting playability.

Honestly, I disagree. I prefer a shorter cut. It speeds up play, and I think it makes the course look nicer!

That’s fair, but sometimes it can lead to burned-out spots. Balance is key, right?

By the way, does anyone else enjoy playing in the off-season? I find it a bit humorous that the deer tend to join us on the fairways!

Haha, reillybrian! I had a deer almost tee off with me last fall. It’s definitely a different atmosphere out there after the main season!

I’ve been a member at Nashawtuc Country Club for a few years now, and I can say the dining options are top-notch! Their Sunday brunch is a must-try.

I completely agree! I love how they rotate their menu with seasonal ingredients. It’s always fresh and exciting!

I’ve always found the pro shop services to be very helpful. They carry a solid selection of golf gear, and the staff is quite friendly.

I had a great experience with the locker room facilities too! Very clean and spacious, plus the sauna is a nice touch after a long game.

Can anyone comment on service quality during peak season? I wonder if they can handle the rush well without compromising on experience.
