Has anyone noticed how the bunkers vary in condition throughout the seasons? Sometimes they are well-kept, other times a bit disappointing.

I think the course maintenance team does a great job overall, but yeah, I’ve seen the bunkers around mid-summer needing a bit of work. Just depends on the rains, I guess.

The quality of the greens this spring was remarkable! I hope they can keep it up through fall. Any tips on the best times to play?

I would suggest early mornings or late afternoons, when it’s less crowded and the conditions are just perfect.

I recently played on a busy Saturday and found the overall condition still quite satisfying. The course handles traffic pretty well, I think.

But I’ve also witnessed the fairways getting a bit worn out after a busy weekend. Maintenance should step up their game then for sure!

Definitely! Playing with a nice view is a bonus. I’d take that over a perfect bunker any day!

Has anyone managed to play in winter? I’m curious to know how the course holds up during the colder months!

I played last winter and it was quite different! The snow made for some beautiful scenery, but the course was definitely challenging.

Challenging can be fun! It’s good to hear they manage the course even in winter. I’ll have to try it out!

Butter Valley is always an adventure! Just remember to bring your clubs, not a shovel!

I’ve played at Butter Valley a few times, and I think their pricing is quite fair for the quality of the course. The green fees are reasonable compared to other local courses.

I agree! I’ve been a member for a year now and feel the membership fees are worth it. The benefits are great, especially for frequent players.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about their pricing structure. Some say they charge too much for the amenities they offer. Has anyone felt that way?
