I’m on a mission to find out what the best sub sandwich chain is! With all the options out there, from local favorites to big names, it feels like a culinary adventure. Here are a few questions to kick off our discussion:

Which sub sandwich chains do you think offer the best quality?
Are there any hidden gems that often get overlooked?

Value for Money
Have you found a chain that delivers not just on taste but also on price?
I’d love to hear your experiences and recommendations! Whether you’re a fan of classic sandwiches or adventurous combos, let’s gather some insights. Who knows, we might even hit the perfect spot for our next golf outing snacks!
I’ve tried a lot of sub sandwich chains, but for variety, I think Subway takes the cake. They offer a range of breads, proteins, and a ton of toppings! Plus, their toppings can be customized to fit any diet, even gluten-free options.
True! But I’ve had some good vegetarian options at Jimmy John’s too. They have great fresh veggies and unique toppings like avocado spread that I love. Anyone else tried them?
I find Firehouse Subs pretty customizable! They have unique options like their hook and ladder sub, which I love, and lots of toppings. Plus, they cater well to special diets, including gluten-free bread.
Subway has a unique ingredient called the ‘Subway Series’ which is great for someone who can’t decide! But sometimes I wish they offered a bit more in the way of hot subs.
I love that there are so many options at these chains! But for me, Quiznos has the best toasted subs. Their flavor combinations are unbeatable, especially when they add their special sauces.
Is it just me, or is there a trend of chains not having enough vegetarian options? I often feel like I’m missing out when I’m with friends choosing sandwiches. What do you all think? Kinda frustrating!
I feel you, Mary! Some places like Jersey Mike’s are great for meat lovers but seem to overlook vegetarians. I’d love to see more innovation in that area.
I think all chains have unique qualities. I once tried an avocado turkey sub at Panera, and it was delicious! They even have soups and salads too to complete the meal. Perfect for all diets!
Panera does have great options, plus their mac and cheese is a game-changer! But I still lean towards the classics at Subway for my everyday sub cravings.
I believe it’s all about personal preference. I’ve met some die-hard fans of Jimmy John’s. They swear by the ‘freaky fast’ delivery and the freshness of the ingredients. It’s worth trying at least once! What do you guys think?
Everyone has their favorites, but if I had to choose, I’d say service is a big part too. I had a horrible experience at one chain, and it definitely affected my opinion. Any similar experiences?
Haha, yes! I once had a sandwich made at one shop that was so messy, they almost required a hazmat suit to eat it! Always a risk at sub shops, I guess!
