Seeking Insights on TaylorMade Tour Response Golf Balls

Hey fellow golfers!

  • Spin: Are they delivering the spin you need around the greens? Has anyone noticed a big difference in performance here?
  • Feel: What’s the overall feel like when you’re hitting them? Any feedback on softness or hardness?
  • Durability: How do they hold up after multiple rounds? Do you find they scuff easily?

That sounds great, cannonbarbara! I find that they provide excellent spin control on approach shots. It feels like I can really dial in my short game.

I’ve tried a lot of different golf balls, and the TaylorMade Tour Response are among my favorites. They give me more distance off the tee without sacrificing control around the greens.

Interesting! Spin control is so vital. Do you find that they spin more than other balls in this category?

In my experience, these balls do spin nicely on greens. However, I’ve noticed they might not fly as far as some other premium options on longer drives. It’s a trade-off.

I think the overall playability is fantastic, but I wouldn’t say they’re the longest I’ve hit. However, they’ve definitely improved my control!

That’s an interesting point! I feel like sometimes it’s better to have that control than just pure distance, especially in tight pin placements.

Agreed! For me, the feel of the ball is just as important. I enjoy how soft they feel on contact.

How about durability? I’ve had issues with other balls scuffing easily, but the Taylormade Tour Response seem to hold up quite well.

I’ve had a similar experience with durability. They seem to last longer during my rounds compared to some other brands I’ve tried.

I agree on durability! It’s surprising how well they perform after multiple rounds. Any thoughts on them in wet conditions?

I played a round in the rain, and I felt like the grip was still excellent. However, I noticed a slight decrease in distance when it was wet.

Haha, sounds like a bit of a trade-off there! Perhaps wet weather is the nemesis of every ball. Overall, they have been a solid choice, right?

Exactly, mtorres! I think it’s all about finding the right balance for your game. For me, the Tour Response checks most boxes.

I recently switched to TaylorMade Tour Response balls from Titleist Pro V1, and I must say, the feel around the greens is fantastic! They really compete well in terms of spin.

That’s interesting! I found the Chrome Soft to be softer but with less spin. I wonder how the Tour Response stacks up in that regard.

In my experience, the TaylorMade Tour Response balls provide a nice balance between distance and feel. They might not be as premium as Pro V1, but they are more affordable!

Totally agree, William! The price of Tour Response is definitely a plus for casual players who still want quality!

I’ve used both the Tour Response and Chrome Soft. While the Chrome Sof hits longer, the Tour Response offers better control with short shots for my game. It really depends on your playing style!
